MEDIA / TRAVEL WRITERS > SPRING WELCOME LETTER

Thanks for your interest in the Corning/Finger Lakes area. I'm happy to assist by developing an itinerary, arranging tours and interviews, acting as a personal guide, etc. What can I do for you?

Spring Spring is a great time to visit Corning and the Finger Lakes. As the hills come alive with vivid shades of green, enjoy popular events such as the LPGA Corning Classic, the IRL Indy car series at Watkins Glen International, and wine events at Keuka Lake wineries.

Exciting new exhibits are unveiled this spring at the Corning Museum of Glass and the Rockwell Museum of Western Art. “Glass of the Maharajahs” is the world's first major exhibition of glass furnishings made for Indian palaces at the turn of the century.Explore this fascinating exhibit through November 30th, at the Corning Museum of Glass. The Rockwell Museum of Western Art is proud to announce Ansel Adams: Celebration of Genius, which will open June 8th and will be on exhibit through September 4th. Both museums have dynamic interactive exhibits and fun hands-on activities for the entire family. They are open 7 days a week until 8:00 PM through Labor Day and remember – kids 17 and under are admitted free with adult paid admission.

The Finger Lakes is also a region known for outdoor activities. We like to think of it as a natural fitness center. Get back into shape in the Finger Lakes, where hiking, biking and paddle sports are very popular.
